The new Puig D12 winglets for the BMW R1300R have been developed to optimise aerodynamics and significantly improve the motorcycle's stability.

Thanks to their innovative dual-wing design and the separation between aerodynamic surfaces, the D12 Spoilers generate the highest downforce coefficient developed to date while minimising their impact on the motorcycle's aerodynamic drag coefficient.

The winglet features two aerodynamic surfaces connected by a lateral winglet, with the upper surface having a steeper angle than the lower one. This configuration channels airflow towards the upper section of the wing, generating greater aerodynamic load on the front axle of the BMW R1300R.

From an aesthetic point of view, the D12 winglets integrate perfectly with the motorcycle's original lines. The beginning and end of the winglet cuts align with the edges of the original side panels, achieving a clean, aggressive and fully sporty visual integration.

The winglets are available in matte black, gloss black and carbon-look finishes.

Designed and manufactured entirely in Barcelona by Puig's engineers and designers, pioneers in transferring racing aerodynamics to road motorcycles.

They are manufactured from 4 mm high-quality CN acrylic with elegant rounded edges. They incorporate 3 mm metal brackets finished in textured black to guarantee outstanding strength and stability.

Dimensions are 103 mm wide at the lower section and 123 mm at the upper section, with an overall height of 220 mm and a depth of 31 mm at the lower area and 98 mm at the upper section.

Installing the D12 winglets is quick and straightforward, making them suitable for any user, even without advanced mechanical knowledge.

Installation can easily be completed by following the step-by-step instructions supplied by Puig, available both in printed format and online.

The D12 winglets have been specifically designed to generate downforce on the motorcycle's front axle, delivering significant dynamic improvements while riding.

Key benefits include an anti-wheelie effect, improved high-speed stability by reducing shimmy, greater stability under hard braking and enhanced stability and precision during rapid direction changes.

The new D12 spoiler line by Puig has been created with a clear goal: to put aerodynamics above all else. These side spoilers have been developed to deliver maximum aerodynamic performance on high-performance motorcycles.

The innovative double-wing design, with separate surfaces divided by a lateral spoiler, channels airflow upwards, generating greater downforce without compromising the overall aerodynamic coefficient. The angle of the surfaces has been carefully studied to offer an optimal balance between performance and stability.

Thanks to this configuration, the system delivers up to 4.4 kg of downforce on the front axle, resulting in an anti-wheelie effect, greater high-speed stability (anti-shimmie), improved braking stability, and better behavior during directional changes.

Designed and manufactured entirely in Barcelona, they combine advanced engineering with a racing-inspired design. Made from 4 mm thick CN acrylic with rounded edges for added safety, they are mounted using 2 mm metal brackets with a textured black finish.

Installation is simple, requires no mechanical knowledge, and can be easily completed by following the included instructions or checking them online.
