The teams sponsored by Puig once again stood out this weekend, both in the MotoGP World Championship and in the Spanish Superbike Championship.
In MotoGP, Luca Marini (#10) delivered a solid performance. The Italian rider finished seventh on Sunday, after also competing in Saturday’s Sprint Race with a consistent pace. Although he did not make it to the podium, his regularity allows him to maintain a good position for the rest of the season and remain close to the top ten in the championship standings.
In ESBK, on Saturday, Javier Palomera (#57) started strong: he took pole position, dominated the race and claimed victory. He was joined on the podium by Juan Pablo Urióstegui (#51), who finished third, completing an outstanding performance.
But the most important moment came on Sunday: with another victory, Palomera mathematically secured the title of Spanish Superstock 1000 Champion, thus achieving the 32nd title for his team. A golden finish to a flawless weekend.
The emotion was special as this success is dedicated to Borja Gómez: “We miss you”, said the team, expressing the heartfelt feeling behind this achievement.
