Following Puig’s new product line, this seat cowl has been developed for next-generation motorcycles with a design that perfectly matches the demanding lines of modern naked bikes.
By removing the passenger seat from the KTM 990 Duke, the silhouette of the motorcycle becomes significantly sleeker and its aggressive character is enhanced. Thanks to the design of the seat cowl cover, the rear section gains more personality and a clear sporty character reminiscent of single-seat racing motorcycles.
The Puig seat cowl for the new 990 Duke follows the minimalist and aggressive aesthetic of this KTM, with flat surfaces that bring character and simplicity to the rear of one of the most remarkable naked bikes of the moment.
This seat cowl consists of two pieces joined together, allowing installation exactly like the original KTM cowl, even improving ease of use. With the original cowl, a rear clip system is required which can be slightly uncomfortable.
Designed and manufactured at Puig facilities located next to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Montmeló), using the most advanced technical plastic molding technologies.
Manufactured from high-quality 3 mm ABS plastic, available in matte black or carbon-look finish, resulting in a lightweight and durable component perfectly integrated with the motorcycle design.
Includes a bracket assembly supplied pre-mounted as a single piece to facilitate installation.
Overall dimensions are 268 mm wide, 320 mm long and 96 mm deep.
Installation is very simple, as the Puig seat cowl replaces the passenger seat directly using the same mounting system.
Simply open the seat, remove it and place the Puig seat cowl in its position.
The next-generation tailpieces from Puig stand out for their aggressive design and appeal in leaving the rear of the motorcycle uniquely prepared for the rider. By converting the bike into a single-seater, it acquires a personalized and sporty aesthetic, resembling racing motorcycles.
Its carefully studied design aims to lighten the rear, simplifying the bike's lines. Additionally, we incorporate a 4mm thick black neoprene foam in the front area of the tailpiece to enhance rider comfort when crouched at high speeds. Designed and manufactured near the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmeló, Barcelona, this piece is made from matte black ABS plastic, glossy black, or a durable and lightweight 3mm thick carbon-like material.
Its installation is very straightforward, as the Puig tailpiece uses the same or similar anchoring system to make the tailpiece installation as simple as possible.
Depending on the model, Puig tailpieces include a kit of adhesives to maintain the bike's colors with the installed product.
