Developed from MotoGP experience and designed by Puig for application on road motorcycles, the aero wheel deflectors for the Yamaha YZF-R1 2025 are engineered to improve safety, stability and performance both in sporty riding and daily use. Their main function is to reduce turbulence generated around the front wheel area, a particularly critical zone at high speeds and under demanding riding conditions.
Thanks to the specific design of their surfaces, when the motorcycle is leaned over the deflectors act as a wing, generating downforce directly on the front wheel without interfering with suspension performance or adjustment. In addition, they help channel airflow more efficiently towards the fairing, optimizing the overall aerodynamics of the bike.

The set consists of two wheel deflectors, designed and manufactured from high-quality ABS at Puig’s facilities in Barcelona, next to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, using the most advanced plastic molding technologies.
Includes steel supports that provide rigidity to the assembly, with a textured black finish and a prior cataphoresis treatment to prevent corrosion over time.
