STRONG PERFORMANCES IN WORLDSBK, MOTOGP AND THE 24 HOURS OF BARCELONA-CATALUNYA

The Prosecco DOC UK Round of the Superbike World Championship delivered positive results for the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team. In Race 1, Alex Lowes finished seventh, followed by Garrett Gerloff in eighth and Axel Bassani in ninth.

The team's performance improved in the Superpole Race. Lowes narrowly missed the podium with fourth place, just ahead of Bassani in fifth. Gerloff completed the race in ninth position.

In Race 2, Bassani led the team's results with fourth place. Lowes crossed the finish line in fifth, while Gerloff finished sixth, completing a weekend marked by consistency and steady progress.

Following these results, Alex Lowes sits fourth in the overall championship standings. Axel Bassani is sixth and Garrett Gerloff eighth.

Remaining at the same circuit but switching categories, in WorldSSP, Roberto García enjoyed another strong weekend with GMT94 Yamaha, finishing fourth in both races.

The championship now enters its summer break and will return to action on September 4 in France.

Meanwhile, in Germany, MotoGP rider Luca Marini, competing for Honda HRC Castrol, secured eighth place at the Sachsenring.

MotoGP also heads into its summer break before returning to racing on August 28 in Aragón.

Closer to our headquarters in Granollers, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the season finally arrived: the 24 Hours of Barcelona-Catalunya, a round of the FIM Endurance World Championship.

The Català Racing team, featuring Miquel Pons, Xavi Artigas, Àlex Toledo and Julien Pilot, claimed an impressive second place after completing a total of 774 laps.

The team finished six laps behind the winners after fighting for victory for virtually the entire race.

The team worked tirelessly until the very end, maintaining an excellent pace throughout the race while efficiently overcoming mechanical issues and the various unexpected challenges that arose. Their consistency, endurance and ability to react under pressure enabled Català Racing to secure the second step of the podium in one of the most demanding races on the calendar.
