Yeray Ruiz and Travis Borg also claim podium finishes with Team Laglisse and Monlau Motul
Race weekend at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya marked the start of the MotoJunior FIM World Championship. Puig, technical sponsor of AGR Team, Team Laglisse and Monlau Motul, began the season with a strong presence in the FIM MotoJunior thanks to the results achieved in Barcelona.
AGR Team, led by Anscari Nadal, started the defence of its Moto2 European Championship title with Milan Pawelec leading the standings. The Polish rider secured a victory and a third-place finish at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, results that place him at the top of the championship with 41 points.
Yeray Ruiz, from Team Laglisse, also stood out by finishing second in the Stock European Championship after a weekend spent fighting for pole position.
Meanwhile, Travis Borg, riding for Monlau Motul, claimed second place in the second Moto3 race, securing Team Monlau Motul’s first-ever podium in MotoJunior.
