THE MONLAU MOTUL ENDURANCE RACE ENDS IN SUCCESS

Calafat Circuit. 10 teams. More than 140 attendees. Four hours of competition to put everything learned throughout the course to the test.

As the technical sponsor of Monlau Motul Technical School, Puig Hi-Tech Parts could not miss one of the most important events on the academic calendar: the final examination of the Motorcycle Racing Mechanics course. An event where students have the opportunity to experience a unique day in a real racing environment, facing all the challenges involved in an endurance race.

The eighth edition of this educational competition took place at Calafat Circuit (Tarragona). A total of 55 students, divided into 10 teams, took on different responsibilities within the structure of a professional racing team. Each team consisted of two riders, a team manager and between four and five students responsible for the different technical areas.

Throughout the day, participants worked with the Honda CBR600RR F26 motorcycles, entirely prepared by themselves during the course, facing all the situations typical of a real racing event, from mechanical preparation to race strategy. The intense battle on track between the ten competing motorcycles also extended to the pits, where the six mandatory pit stops and the four-litre refuelling limit made strategy and execution decisive factors.

A highly valuable educational experience that allowed students to put their technical, strategic and organisational skills into practice in a real racing environment, demonstrating the high level of preparation achieved during their training at Monlau Motul Technical School.
