Magny-Cours brings the first half of the season to a close with a double victory for Pawelec and another podium finish for Borg.
The Magny-Cours circuit, located in the Nièvre department in central France, hosted the final round of the FIM JuniorGP before the summer break this past weekend. Puig-sponsored teams once again demonstrated their excellent form, securing outstanding results across the different categories.
In the Moto2 European Championship, Milan Pawelec delivered another flawless weekend. The Polish rider from AGR Team claimed victory in both races, completing a perfect double. Thanks to these two wins, Pawelec further strengthens his lead in the overall standings, extending his advantage over his closest rivals.
Following his second victory, Pawelec said: "It's the first time I've won two races on the same day, so it's a very special Sunday for both me and the AGR Team. In both races today we had some great, clean battles with Unai, and throughout the entire weekend the whole team did an excellent job. […]”.
In the Moto3 Junior World Championship, Travis Borg continues to impress with Team Monlau Motul. The rider secured a solid third-place finish, allowing him to remain second in the overall standings, fewer than ten points behind the championship leader. The result keeps his title ambitions firmly alive heading into the second half of the season.
Following the summer break, the championship will return to Spain for the next round at Circuit Ricardo Tormo on the weekend of 6 September. There, Puig-sponsored teams will look to resume the season with the same level of performance that has defined their first half of the year.
